Valou – “A Violin’s Box”

Hello everybody!

This morning, I come to present you my Violin’s Box!

Here is my creation.

File of cut of the shop ” Snap Dragon Snippets “.

To realize this box “Violin”, I used some paper ” white Bazzil Cardstock ” and papers “Pion Design”, collection “My Precious Daughter”. The edges of the various papers are inked to the ink “Distress Walnut Stain”.

I used an image of our sponsor “The Paper Shelter“.

I colorized it in the following way:

- Ink ” Distress Vintage Photo ” and “Tattered Rose” for the skin.

- Ink “Distress Antique Linen” and “Distress Brushed Corduroy” for hair.

- Ink “Distress Victorian Velvet”.

- Ink “Distress Walnut Stain”.

In certain places, I embossed with some powder to emboss “Gold”.

I added the following flowers:

-White and pink Rose (30 mm).

-Blue carnation.

-White and lilac Rose (20 mm).

-Lilidaft white.

-Lilidaft pink.

I realized a knot with the ribbon ” pink Organza ” which I stuck on the top of the violin.

Finally, I stuck die-cuts “Butterflies” realized with a dies ” Noor! Design “.

Here is for all the explanations!

I thank you for your passage here and I hope you a lovely day!

Be Mine

It’s Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.

We’re so close to Valentine’s Day, but I wanted to show a couple of sweetheart cards I made using Snapdragon Snippets files. They turned out so pretty!

You can find this first ‘Be Mine’ card here in the Silhouette Design Store:

I used Basic Grey papers on this card, and some bling from my stash.

On this next card, I combined 2 Snapdragon Snippets files.

The card file is the Artisan Edged Card: Scalloped Heart, found in the Silhouette Design Store.  I the middle of the heart, I placed the “I Love You”.

Papers on this card are from Close To My Heart, as is the enamel heart and glitter trim.  The lace is from 3 Girl JAM.

These cards went out in Monday’s mail, heading across the country to friends and family to wish them a Happy Valentine’s Day.  I wish you the same!
